Brief History
- 1953 The Church began as an extension of Central Union Church in Honolulu, meeting at various Windward locations.
- 1955 Harold Castle donated three and half acres of land and groundbreaking began that November.
- 1956 The first worship service in Central Union Windward was held Sunday, June 10.
- 1963 The congregation became independent in January, emerging as Windward United Church of Christ.
- 2005 & 2006 50th Anniversary celebrations were held on the church grounds and at the Kaneohe Yacht Club.
